Great! Now they can be as miserable as the rest of us. Maybe they'll have to stop calling themselves 'gay'. :)
Seriously, at some point some governmental or judicial body is going to have to rule whether marriage is a religious ceremony or a legal contract and force rule changes accordingly.
If it is a religious ceremony, then there should be no special legal benefits for it, no automatic right of inheritance, surviving spouse benefits, etc. If it is a legal contract, then the Supreme Court ruling from Loving v. Virginia could easily apply to the anti-gay-marriage laws for their overturning.
