My Dark Confession, brought to you by Bitch magazine
FYI, I've got a one-page color autobiographical piece in the new Noir issue of Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture magazine, on newsstands now! I drew it for a special color comics section called "My Dark Confession," and it's about my struggles with OCD and such.

I just read it this morning! It's a great comic, thank you and thank Bitch for sharing it with us. (The other comics are pretty good there in this issue, too...too bad they don't do this more regularly!)
I just got my copy of Bitch and went straight to it.
I really liked the piece. Your depictions of knife-through-fingernail set off all of my own irrational terrors of blood-phobia. Not complaining, just complimenting the effectiveness of your story and art. I've gotten better too, I can now submit to giving a blood sample without needing a friend to keep me from running away. Its a phobia I developed as a pre-teen. I wonder if there is some sort of body fear that gets played out in younger women as a response to feeling helpless or in danger as women? (just musing)
Anyway, I've been reading your stuff since the beginning and appreciating. I hope your wrists are healing and that you are able to keep doing as much art as you want.
