My brother's burning house

Not at all comics-related, but I love these pictures. My brother and his wife bought a piece of land in Maine that had an incredibly decrepit unlivable old house on it, so the fire department burnt it down as a training exercise. Photo by my mother Beryl Reid.

The post title scared me for a sec. I thought your brother's house was literally burning like in the picture. Then I read your post.

I love Maine. It is second only to Vermont in my Pantheon of New England-ness. It's a little behind the progressive southern New England states, but it makes up for it in actual, name-brand Moxie.

Yes, I went there. To Soft Drink Pun-Land.
